flash10news.com does not run its own advertising, analytics, or tracking system. The site does, however, rely on
outside services to deliver its pages and power its features, and those services automatically receive some basic
information (IP address, browser type, time of visit, page requested) when you load the site:
- Hostinger — hosts the website
- Cloudflare — delivers it to your browser
- Google Apps Script — powers the news feed, weather widget, and to-do list
- ipapi.co — looks up an approximate city for the weather widget
- Open-Meteo — supplies the weather data

News headlines are fetched on the server side, so the news provider does not see your browser. Clicking a headline takes you to an outside news site that has its own privacy practices we do not control. Optional location: The weather widget may ask permission to use your device's exact location. This is optional — if you decline, it falls back to the approximate city lookup and your precise coordinates are never sent.

To-Do list: If you choose to use the to-do list, the personal code you create, your tasks, and any alert dates are stored in a private Google Sheet linked to this site. Your code is also saved in your browser's local storage so you don't have to retype it on the same device. You can clear it any time with the "Reset / Switch Profile" button or by emailing the address below.
Cookies: flash10news.com sets no marketing or analytics cookies. Hostinger and Cloudflare may set technical cookies for security and performance, and the to-do list uses local storage on your own device. You can clear these any time through your browser settings.

What we do not do: no advertising, no selling or sharing of personal information, no behavioral profiles, no session replay, no fingerprinting, and no knowing collection of data from children under 13. Your choices: A tracker-blocking extension (such as uBlock Origin), blocking third-party cookies, declining the location prompt, or using private/incognito mode will limit what any site — including this one — learns about you.
